Pat Ammondolio
Pat Ammondolio was an exceptional student and teacher in the early days. He became the second instructor at McMaster University, taking over from the original teacher, Ray Greenway. Pat’s skill and dedication as an instructor produced many top-level students, including Sam Delmonte and Tony Chang, who later opened the first Eastern Karate Dojo in Brantford, Ontario.
Pat was deeply respected by everyone who knew him — a terrific person both on and off the floor. He began his martial arts journey training under John Webster, then continued with Ray Greenway, and finally with Benny Allen and Frank Wishart at the Ottawa Street Dojo.
Pat remains one of the kindest people you could ever meet and continues to be a strong supporter of our documentary project,
