A couple of weeks ago I came across pictures of the first karate tournament I attended. The 1970 Canadian Karate Championship put on by Langelier Dojo at Lansdowne Park in Ottawa. Horsing around in the parking lot were Laura March, Don Warrener, Jim Elliott Collin Bonner and Paul Gillrie.
